Geomatics is a discipline concerned with the collection, distribution, storage, analysis, processing, and presentation of geographic data or geographic information, as defined in the ISO/TC 211 series of standards. It encompasses products, services, and tools for the integration and management of geospatial data, and has evolved from traditional surveying engineering to include modern spatial information technologies.
